Full Court Press:

Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Bos -2.0

With the series tied at one apiece, Milwaukee will head to Boston to try and reclaim home-court advantage. I’ll start with those Milwaukee Bucks. If the Bucks do what I think they should do, Brook Lopez will be non-exist in this game, and actually has been for this series. In the second half of Game 2, the Bucks started to run out a smaller lineup which had Giannis Antetokounmpo guarding Al Horford at the 5 while Brook Lopez sat on the bench. Horford, who normally kills the Bucks, was held to just three points and three turnovers as well. I don’t know if this is as much of a good thing for Giannis, as it is a bad thing for Lopez. Giannis is an elite play regardless, but I think we can avoid Lopez for the rest of this series unless something changes. Khris Middleton completely took over last game, going 7 for 10 from the three-point line. I don’t expect him to do that again, but he has historically destroyed the Celtics in the playoffs. This season in five games against the Celtics, Middleton is averaging 39.2 Draftkings points per game, I like him a good amount here. It sounds like Malcolm Brogdon will be out again, which may lead to Nikola Mirotic starting again. He got into foul trouble early last game and will have difficulty guarding Jaylen Brown. However, his 25 minutes were a playoff-high and we know how hot he can get from beyond the arch. Eric Bledsoe had a very nice bounce-back game in game 2, look for him to carry that over to tonight. From the Celtics, there’s a lot to breakdown here from a gameplan standpoint. The Bucks are immediately double teaming Kyrie Irving once he gets across that three-point line, they’re going to let someone else beat them and it worked last game. This often leaves open shots for Al Horford who has notoriously killed the Bucks in the past. However, this could change if Giannis is able to stick on Horford better than Lopez could, he’s much quicker (captain obvious). With that said, one of them is going to get shots, it’s almost impossible to guard them both. I would take my chances with Al Horford. Marcus Morris, Gordon Hayward, and Jaylen Brown are all secondary plays. It’s hard to predict which one will have the best night, but I do love the way Hayward looks on the court recently. From a value standpoint, George Hill and Pat Connaughton grade out as the best from both of these teams.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Kyrie Irving, Al Horford

4-star play: Eric Bledsoe, Nikola Mirotic, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: George Hill, Pat Connaughton, Ersan Ilyasova

GPP Sleeper: Nikola Mirotic, Jaylen Brown

Denver Nuggets @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 215.5

Vegas Spread: Por -4.0

Much like the first game, this series is tied at one apiece as well, as Denver travels to Portland for game 3. Starting with Denver it’s pretty obvious who the best play on the team is in Nikola Jokic. He’s going to play around 40 minutes in this one and be asked to carry a lot of the load, he’s up there with Giannis and Dame for the top raw scorers on the slate. Jamal Murray aggravated a thigh injury in their last game, but it sounds like he should be alright to go here. Be sure to keep an eye on our Breaking News Feed before lock just in case that changes. Assuming he’s good to go here, he makes a lot of sense as a mid-range option at point guard. Paul Millsap finally busted out over the past two games, I don’t mind going back to the well here with him. Gary Harris is a secondary play, while Will Barton, Malik Beasley, and Torrey Craig are all GPP options. From the Trailblazers, Damian Lillard is the man you want here. He had an off game last game only going for 30 Draftkings points, but he’s not the type of guy to get down on himself after a bad game. He will likely play minutes into the 40’s here and take over on offense, he has 70 point fantasy upside every time he steps on the court. CJ McCollum is in play, but I would rather find the extra money to get up to Middleton. Enes Kanter has played surprisingly well in matching up with Nikola Jokic. I don’t mind throwing him in your center spot. A surprising emergence of Rodney Hood has occurred in this series as well, he has scored at least 22 Draftkings points in both games he makes for a nice value play as well. Moe Harkless is dealing with an ankle sprain, so keep an eye on his availability, him being out would open up opportunities for Hood and Al-Farouq Aminu.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Damian Lillard

4-star play: Paul Millsap, Gary Harris, Enes Kanter, CJ McCollum

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Rodney Hood

GPP Sleeper: Will Barton, Malik Beasley, Torrey Craig
