Full Court Press:

Boston Celtics @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -7.5

Pace: Bos +3.4

Starting with the Celtics, if you watched the first game or any of the series last year, you’ll know that Al Horford absolutely kills the Bucks for some reason. In three games against them this season he is averaging 50.1 Draftkings points per game, and he is by far my favorite option from this team. Jayson Tatum’s price has fallen a bit coming off a bad game on Sunday, I expect him to take a backseat to Horford and Kyrie so he is a secondary play. Speaking of Kyrie Irving, he’s a great play here, he normally shows up in the playoffs and should play minutes near 40. Gordon Hayward is starting to look like his old self and starting to gain some confidence, I like him in this spot as well, perhaps my third option on this team. Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown are both secondary 4-star plays. I expect the Bucks to come out aggressive, Sunday was their first game against a real team in about three weeks, and the rust was evident. Draftkings has gone ahead and priced Eric Bledsoe below $6k based on his playoff play over the past couple of seasons, but this price is too low and I like him a lot here. The Research Station has him projected to go over 6x that price tag. My second option on the Bucks is Giannis Antetokounmpo who I expect to take over in this game. He’s not the type of guy to get down on himself after one game, just the opposite, actually. He’s up there with Harden and Durant as the top play of the slate. Khris Middleton usually plays very well against the Celtics, he’s a very safe cash game options, but I would rather go down to Bledsoe in GPPs. Brook Lopez is only averaging 15.6 Draftkings points per game against the Celtics this season, yes that is skewed by his last game which was a dud. With that said, I’ll be filling up my center position with Horford instead. Pat Connaughton, Sterling Brown, and George Hill will continue to see minutes until Malcolm Brogdon returns, they’re all viable for value options.

5-star play: Al Horford, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe (DK)

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Pat Connaughton, Sterling Brown, George Hill

GPP Sleeper: Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez

Houston Rockets @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 220.5

Vegas Spread: GS -5.5

Pace: Hou +2.8

Starting with the Rockets, James Harden is averaging just over 60 Draftkings points in four games against the Warriors this season, he is up there with Giannis and Durant as the best raw play on the slate. Clint Capela is cheap, but to be honest, looks off. He may be injured or just not ready for the matchup, but I’ll take a wait and see approach on him. Chris Paul is a guy that I like to target in the playoffs, as he gives it 110% on each night. He’s playing more minutes than I anticipated, but they’ll need him if they want to win this series. Eric Gordon continues to play around 40 minutes per night and is averaging just about 30 Draftkings points per game against the Warriors this season. From the Warriors, the Research Station has Kevon Looney projected to be the best point per dollar play on Draftkings tonight. He and Steph Curry are both projected to go over 6x their price tag. Curry under $8k on Draftkings feels a bit ridiculous, he’s a great play.

Kevin Durant is playing out of his mind right now, and will likely continue to see a lot of PJ Tucker defense. In his last five games, Durant is averaging 59.25 Draftkings points per game. He has begun to put the team on his back and is certainly in play tonight. Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are both cheaper options if you want to get more exposure to this team. Finally, Andre Iguodala makes sense as a value play if you find yourself needing one.

5-star play: James Harden, Chris Paul, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant

4-star play: Eric Gordon, Clint Capela, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Kevon Looney, Andre Iguodala

GPP Sleeper: Clint Capela
