Full Court Press

Milwaukee Bucks @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: 219.5 0/u

Vegas Spread: Mil -12.5

The first game of the night consists of the Bucks heading on the road to Detroit, as they look to complete the sweep and move on to play the Celtics in round two of the playoffs. When it comes to the Bucks, we need to start things off with Giannis Antetokounmpo. He and James Harden are the two spend up options on the slate, but Giannis grades out as the better point per dollar play in the Domination Station.

I’m not saying he’s 100% the best play on the slate, but these two will likely be two of the top scorers tonight. In seven games this season Eric Bledsoe is averaging 39.0 Draftkings points per game against the Pistons. His price has come down, and I think he’s very playable again tonight. Khris Middleton might not have the same upside as Bledsoe, but he certainly has a nice floor. He’s scored at least 28 Draftkings points in nine of his last ten games. Brook Lopez is giving Andre Drummond fits on both ends of the floor, however, he’s just a secondary play for me. I do like Sterling Brown, as he’ll likely continue to start until Malcolm Brogdon rejoins the team. He’s had a few down games lately, but we know he has 30-35 fantasy point upside. Lastly, George Hill is a GPP option, he’s seen at least 23 minutes in all three of their playoff games this season. From the Pistons, there isn’t a whole lot that I love. Andre Drummond is a fade in my eyes, he’s only averaging 36 Draftkings points per game against the Bucks this season. However, he has been slightly better in his last two games. I just don’t like how Lopez pulls him away from the hoop which negates his rebounding upside. I never love playing Blake Griffin, but if he plays, he’s a fine GPP option, as he had a nice game in his first game back. Luke Kennard is in play as a mid-range play, the Bucks struggle with the three-point line and he’s taken advantage of that in this series. Eric Bledsoe plays elite on-ball defense, but Reggie Jackson has been able to get his in this series. His price is too low, and he’s certainly playable here. Langston Galloway and Wayne Ellington are both GPP value options.

5-star plays: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe, Reggie Jackson

4-star plays: Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Sterling Brown, Blake Griffin, Luke Kennard

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: George Hill, Langston Galloway, Wayne Ellington

GPP Sleepers: Andre Drummond

Houston Rockets @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 214.5 o/u

Vegas Spread: Hou -3.0

Much like the Bucks, the Rockets will head on the road to try and complete the sweep of the Jazz to move on to the second round of the playoffs. Starting with the Rockets, I touched on James Harden a bit when I touched on Giannis. He’s certainly in play here, as people will likely pay up for at least one of these guys. If I had to choose between the two I’d probably side with Harden, but check the coach’s notes/player picks before lock to see who they have as a core play. Chris Paul has been very solid in this series and is priced at a good price tag, I’ll have some shares of him for sure. The same can be said for Clint Capela, however, he draws a tough matchup with Rudy Gobert. I’m not all too concerned about the matchup, as he’s proven he can hang with Gobert on both ends. Really the only other guy I want to target on this team is Eric Gordon, who has the capability of scoring when the best of ’em every time he steps on the court. He’ll likely see 30+ minutes here and is priced nicely. In terms of value, PJ Tucker is your best option, I probably wouldn’t go near Faried, House, or Green. From the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell finally turned it around last game after putting up a few duds in the first two games. Maybe now that he’s at home he’ll look to carry this team and try to make a comeback. Rudy Gobert has put up similar numbers to Clint Capela this postseason, but they are also priced similarly. If you can get to Gobert I would prefer him, but settling for Capela isn’t a bad thing. Ricky Rubio gets a tough defensive matchup against Chris Paul but has been able to hold his own, he’s in play here as well. Joe Ingles, Derrick Favors, and Jae Crowder are all secondary options given their recent production in this series. Royce O’Neale is a value option for GPPs, he’ll likely play a good amount of minutes in order to help out on defense and containing James Harden.

5-star plays: James Harden, Chris Paul, Clint Capela, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert

4-star plays: Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker, Ricky Rubio

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Royce O’Neale

GPP Sleeper: Joe Ingles, Derrick Favors, Jae Crowder
