Kickin it on the Pitch w/ TreyJ – Gameweek 35 EPL DFS for Draftkings & Fanduel

It’s the eve of EPL DFS Gameweek 35. That means we are about to descend into the final month of the season and what a season it’s been. Unlike last season, where City won the league about 3 months in and the relegations squads were pretty much decided, we have all the races on the line. That means plenty of things to play for down the stretch. Despite tired legs, they will give it their all week in and week out. You can bet we will follow suit. Welcome to the DFS Army match breakdown brought to you by myself, TreyJ989.

Bournemouth v Fulham

Bournemouth is your chalk team of the day. Ryan Fraser will be in my lineups. It’s kind of hard to not have him in cash. The last two matches between these two squads have seen over 2.5 goals but those totals were aided by a couple of red cards. Both teams have been conceding goals, so I don’t think we need a red card to see plenty of celebrations tomorrow. In addition to Fraser, you will see plenty of Callum Wilson ownership. He is in a good spot but there are a few excellent spots and I probably wouldn’t mind saving a bit of salary. Fulham is in play and I think it starts (and maybe ends) with Aleksandar Mitrovic. Forwards have enjoyed success against the Bournemouth defense. Artur Boruc will be your cash keeper for the day. He is really cheap on Fanduel but on DK you may want to go elsewhere. I don’t endorse paying all the way up for keepers.

Huddersfield v Watford

Some might argue that these teams have nothing to play for. I think there is plenty to play for on the Watford side. From where they were last year to where they are now, they have grown quite a bit but there is more work to be done and every game is an opportunity. Huddersfield is looking to turn the page and that comes in August. I like Watford to win but I think Huddersfield is playable. Both teams are vulnerable to forwards but Huddersfield is also vulnerable to attacking mids. Cash plays are tougher to identify on the offensive which makes me think centerbacks are very much in play on Fanduel. This game could prove more useful in gpp formats.

West Ham v Leicester

This is a very even match and that is how I expect it to go. Felipe Anderson makes a solid cash play. Leicester has been vulnerable to the wide mids and they have been conceding chances from the attacking left. I do not mind James Maddison so much only because the possession should be relatively even. If I had to wager, I would think the scoring is at a bit of a premium. This looks more like a gpp one-off situation.

Wolverhampton v Brighton

I’m not a big fan of Brighton on the road here. Brighton definitely has the motivation but Wolves are only playing for the premier league these days and are at home. I really like Joao Moutinho in a situation where Wolves should end up with about 65-70% situation. He is 20th in the league over the last 4 gameweeks in crosses and 9th in chances created. Some teams haven’t played 4 games in that time, but he generally sits high in the league in those categories and he should see added touches. Cash spot. On the other side of the field, Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk are in play in cash for fanduel. That much possession against should make for a busy day for the guys responsible for keeping the heat off their keeper.

Newcastle v Southampton

I think there will be some fantasy goodness to be had in this one. Both of these times are right next to each other in the standings and right above the relegation zone. I don’t think either team takes anything for granted and we some pace in this one. This is a match I definitely want exposure to in all formats. Normally, I might concede that you don’t have to get the hammer in your cash lineup but we have 1 less match to pick from. I think you may end up with a piece either way. So who do we want to target?
