DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice March 26th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this ten-game slate. This is a “massive” slate, and there are tons of value plays available. You can make an extremely good lineup tonight without having to go to the bench, and most people will do just that. The bench, however, provides you with an opportunity to make comparable lineups with players who will be much lower-owned. Let’s take a look at some of the standouts off the bench tonight.

CORE PLAYS

SG – Lou Williams ($7,400): Sweet Lou finds himself in a good spot tonight against the injury-riddled Wolves. Last time they faced off, Lou put up 48 FDPs in 33 minutes. Coming off a 47 FPs endeavor against the Knicks, Lou will look to keep it going. He is a core play tonight.

SF – Jabari Parker ($6,500): Trevor Ariza remains doubtful. Jabari Parker will play over 30 minutes tonight. The matchup against the Lakers is exactly the type suited for him, a lot of offense, no defense. Parker is reasonably priced here after two subpar games, and his ownership could be a little lower as well. He makes for a core play tonight.

PF – Marvin Bagley III ($7,700): Bagley has been on fire, and there is nothing that indicates he’ll be slowing down any time soon. He gets an excellent matchup against the Mavs, one in which he just dropped 47 FDPs in 28 minutes. Bagley is playing lights out right now and you can keep riding that train all the way to the bank. Core play for me.

PF – Montrezl Harrell ($8,000): Harrell has gone for 40+ FDPs in four of his past six games. He is on a nice roll right now. He’ll be needed tonight as the Clippers look to contain KAT. Last time these two teams met, Harrell put up 46 FDPs in 34 minutes. He’ll look to do something similar tonight. He is a core play.

GPP PLAYS

SG – Jeremy Lamb ($6,300): Lamb has struggled mightily since Batum went down. For some reason, he just can’t get himself going. That said, he gets a favorable matchup tonight against the Spurs. With his recent production, he’ll be low-owned, and this is just the kind of matchup for his to bounce back. He makes for a decent GPP play tonight.

SG – Jordan Clarkson ($5,600): Clarkson is averaging right around 30 MPG. He put up 35, 29, and 28.6 FDPs in 32, 33, and 34 MPG respectively over his last three. His minutes are trending upwards, and his production has been consistent. We all know Clarkson has a high ceiling. The combination of consistent production and a high ceiling makes him an interesting Hybrid/GPP play here tonight. An added bonus, he’ll be low-owned.

SF – Stanley Johnson ($4,000): Don’t look now but Johnson has played 27 and 22 minutes for the Pels over his last 2 games. With the injury situation there, it is possible Johnson plays over 30 minutes tonight if Payton misses. This, combined with the excellent matchup, makes him a fantastic drop-score candidate tonight.

PF – Maxi Kleber ($5,000): Kleber is playing 25-30 MPG for the Mavericks. He has flashed upside recently as well, going for 35+ FPs in 2 of his last 7. His matchup against the Kings is fantastic tonight, and his price is good, making him an attractive mid-tier GPP option.

Honorable Mentions

Alex Caruso ($4,200), Trey Burke ($3,500), Dwyane Wade ($5,100), Mason Plumlee ($4,700)
