Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this nine-game slate. There’s a lot going on tonight, and some potential big injury news could very well shake up the slate. That said, there are quite a few good options off the bench tonight. So, without much ado, let’s dive into what the bench has to offer.
CORE PLAYS
PG – Goran Dragic ($5,500): With Winslow out, Dragic is averaging 28 minutes off the bench. Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Spurs who keep getting burned by guards. Coming off a 54.5 FDPs effort against the Thunder, you can expect Dragic to be popular tonight. At his price, he is a solid option in cash/hybrid lineups.
SG – Dwayne Wade ($5,800): Wade has stepped up too with Winslow out, averaging 30 MPG off the bench. He has put up 31.6 and 41.3 FDPs in his last two games. Winslow gets the same excellent matchup against the Spurs and will be a good option tonight at his price. He is a core play.
SG – Terrence Ross ($5,700): Even Fournier is is a major slump, opening the door for Ross to take even more shots. The matchup today is as good as it gets for guards. The Pelicans just aren’t playing defense with Jrue out. Ross will play around 30 minutes tonight and has the 40+ upside. He makes for a core play tonight.
SF – Jabari Parker ($6,400): Parker gets another run at his former team. The first time this happened, he put up 40 FDPs in 34 minutes. It helps that Parker is averaging 31 MPG over his last three games and has gone for 35+ FDPs in each of them. This is an ideal spot for him tonight. He is viable in all formats and is a core play.
GPP PLAYS
SF – Dorian Finney-Smith ($4,300): DFS has played 30+ minutes in four of his last 5 games, with Doncic playing in all but one of them. He is getting the minutes and while he hasn’t been breaking the bank with his production, we know the upside is there. His matchup today is going to be a good one in a game which should be close and high scoring. At his price, he makes for a good drop-score candidate.
PF – Cheick Diallo ($4,500): Coach Gentry mentioned that Diallo was going to start getting more run down the stretch. Since then, Diallo has played 25 and 27 minutes. His minutes are up, and in a situation without AD, while everyone runs to Randle, Diallo could probably be the biggest beneficiary. I love everything about Diallo at his price. He is an excellent GPP play and is drop-score viable as well.
C – Joakim Noah ($5,700): Noah continues to play extremely well for the Grizzlies. Over his last five games, he is averaging around 28.4 FDPs in just over 23 MPG. Today, in a matchup against the Rockets, he’ll be called on to provide some resolve in the paint. He will be low-owned tonight, in a spot in which he could easily go for 35 FDPs. This makes him a sneaky GPP option.
These are your 6th Men of the day. Good luck out there Army!
