DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice March 13th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this six-game slate. The bench is looking much better than yesterday’s looked around this same time. That doesn’t mean there are guaranteed gems in here, just that there are some options we like. Let’s take a look at what we are dealing with.

CORE PLAYS

PG – Spencer Dinwiddie ($6,800): In his six games since returning, Dinwiddie has three games with over 30 FPs, with two being over 40. He has played 30, 30, and 24 minutes. Dinwiddie gets a good matchup tonight against the Thunder, however, he is expensive. It is hard to justify paying so much for him given that backcourt rotation. He is only viable here as a cash play.

SG – Terrence Ross ($5,600): Ross has been solid in his last two games, putting up 32 FDPs efforts. He gets a great matchup versus the Wizards here. His 27-32 minutes should be more than enough for him to make and exceed value here. He is a solid all-format play.

SF – Jae Crowder ($5,200): Crowder has been in good form recently. He is playing close to 31 MPG over his last 10 games and is producing quite well. He gets a fantastic matchup tonight against the Suns. He’s in line for a good night, making him a good all-format play.

GPP PLAYS

PG – Goran Dragic ($4,400): Dragic is working his way back from injury, and the Heat has him on a minute limit here. He’ll only play 20-25 minutes in this game depending on game flow. That said, Dragic has immense upside to him and can go for 30+ FPs in just 20 minutes. Given his price and the matchup, he makes for a nice drop-score and GPP play.

SG – Delon Wright ($5,300): Wright has been solid since getting traded to the Grizzlies. He is currently playing around 25-30 MPG and is averaging around 25 FPs in that span. His price is a little high, but factor in the matchup with the Hawks who can’t stop anyone, and you have the makings of a fantastic day. That said, he is a GPP-only target due to his price.

SF – Jabari Parker ($5,800): I love Parker tonight. I was off him last game because of the pace the Kings play at. This time around the pace of this game should suit him more. Parker is not a player you roster in cash given his inconsistency, but he is slowly working his way to being in contention in hybrid lineups. Tonight, he is a GPP play.

SF – Ivan Rabb ($3,500): This was a hard choice between Ivan Rabb or CJ Miles. One of them will get the minutes today. Rabb has been the forgotten man since his injury. However, he might find himself playing 15-20 minutes tonight. With those minutes against the Hawks, Rabb is capable of hitting 30 FPs. That’s more than enough to hit value. He makes for an interesting drop-score candidate tonight.

PF – Kenneth Faried ($5,600): Faried returned from injury in style against the Hornets. He only played 19 minutes in that game too. You can expect those minutes to increase here a little as the Rockets battle the Warriors. He has a good matchup here and makes for a nice low-owned GPP play.

These are your 6th Men of the day. Good luck out there Army!
