DFS College Basketball Notes For Draftkings and Fanduel 3/27/2019

Good morning/afternoon to you beautiful people out there in DFS land!  You have managed to find yourself in a great spot here at DFS Army.  I look forward to providing you with analysis and picks throughout this 2019 Tournament Season!  Remember, if I mention a player as a cash game play they most likely are OK for GPP play.  Let’s take a look at what games are on the slate for DraftKings.  The KenPom score projections are in parenthesis.

Lipscomb (80) vs NC State (84)
Colorado (66) vs Texas (74)

College basketball hasn’t been back that long, and we have the coaches teaching!  Save yourself time and energy by letting us do the work.  And, if you want to see a real track record of success, stop by our Wall of Wins page to see what we’ve done in NFL, NBA, and MLB recently.  We aren’t one-trick-ponies at DFS Army, and we are dedicated to sharing our knowledge with you to help you improve your game.

LIPSCOMB vs NC STATE

While Lipscomb’s best player is Matthews, I am going to prefer to use Marberry in this spot.  I have attacked NC State’s bigs for much of the season and am not going to stop now.  I like Matthews’ ability and upside but he falls to 2nd or 3rd on my list for Lipscomb.  Asadullah probably slides in right in from of Matthews as I love his per minute abilities.  I do wish he would see 20 minutes a night but I can’t get too picky at his price point.  This could be a bust out game for Pepper as he should be a rebounding machine and all it takes is a few putbacks for him to get his value.  Cooper appears to be a pretty safe cash option while guys like Buckland and Rose can be used as GPP darts.

With NC State projected to have the highest team total on the slate, we need to find some exposure.  The problem I am having is finding guys other than Johnson and Bryce to plug into my lineups.  Dorn makes sense but he clearly is behind the other two guys for me on this slate.  Guys like Daniels, Funderburk, and Beverly are all capable of putting up strong games but I will probably look elsewhere.

Preferred Plays:  Marberry, Asadullah, Johnson, Bryce

COLORADO vs TEXAS

Bey is a guy that I think has an extremely high ceiling, both now and in his future.  This spot is not an auto-lock for him but I do want exposure.  The problem for me is that Texas allows teams to shoot the 3 pretty well but Colorado doesn’t exactly have anybody who I would consider a sharpshooter.  Wright IV should be a fine cash game play while Schwartz, Battey, and Kountz make sense for GPP plays.

I really like the way Roach has played since returning from his suspension, so I will definitely have shares tonight.  Osetkowski has been pretty solid while Sims fits a much-needed value spot in our lineups.  Ramey and Febres are still in play with Ramey being my preferred option.  I do not see much else for us to look at in this game.

Preferred Plays:  Bey, Roach, Sims
