This week the Xfinity Series heads out west to take on Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The series raced there twice last season with the no longer existing #42 of Chip Ganassi winning both races. Practice speeds will be very important this week with a focus on 10 and 20 lap averages. Kyle Busch is in the race with very little elite opposition to contend with. He will be the favorite going into the race.

Lineup Building
Dominator
This week you will be definitely need to get the dominator right. There will likely only be 1 based on the history at Vegas. In each of the last 7 races the eventual winner led over 100 laps. Kyle Busch will end up being the obvious choice here. However, fading him is a possibility as Busch has finished outside the top 10 in 8 of 13 Xfinity Vegas races.
Be sure to utilize the Domination Station and Research Station when making lineups. Atlanta lends itself perfectly to both and should help you cash big. If you aren’t a VIP then sign up and use code Xfinity for 20% off the membership!!
Low Tier
The next important area this week will be the low tier plays. Busch will be a ridiculous price this week meaning you will have to find great value plays to play with him. If you end up not having Busch in your lineup the most likely dominators will be Allgaier, Custer, or Bell. All of these drivers are at the top end salary wise and will force cheap plays to offset their price. You will want to look for the most position upside possible as always but the Xfinity field has less depth this year so taking a driver starting 20th-25th is no longer as risky of a play. See Labbe last week at Atlanta.
Mid to Top Tier
Depending on what you have left for salary will decide who you can round out your lineup with. Position upside with highest possible finishing position is always important. This week you can also look for guys starting 6th-10th who can finish top 5. Only 4 times in the last 6 races has a driver started outside the top 10 finished in the top 5. That means any driver with a handful of positions gained plus top 5 finishing points can most certainly end up on winning lineup.
Punts – Avoid the Punts as they are all start and park drivers and will most likely not finish the race.
