If you guys don’t know me – I am a diehard when it comes to Sports and DFS. I have the luxury of not only watching every game but also using Data as well to break things down to construct proper lineups. My articles with feature a CORE for your NBA lineups. These are guys I consider Cash Safe. I will also dive into some GPP pivots and sleeper picks. Draftkings has incorporated a late swap now for NBA. Fanduel is removing the lowest score in your lineups so there is some strategy there to take more risks with punts and sleepers. Pricing will be listed as Fanduel first then Draftkings after.

CORE/CASH
PG – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (5100/4900) – No Lou?! More minutes for Shai! His price allows you to fit in more expensive players and he should have no problem hitting 5x floor for you tonight. He’s been losing minutes due to Bradley/Beverly/Lou all being healthy. When one of those gentlemen sit – Shai is the first one to benefit. His price today isn’t reflecting the bump he will be seeing. I love Shai is all formats.
SG – James Harden (11500/10700) – Harden is the top stud on the slate and I love pairing him up with Dame. If I had to choose though – one or the other – it’d be Harden. He has an insane 33% usage rate and has demonstrated against Portland he can go off. He hit 55 and 69 in two of his last 4 meetings.
SF – Kawhi Leonard (10700/9500) – Kawhi might be the lowest owned stud of the 3 tonight but I am ranking him above Lillard. I’d love to be able to fit all 3 but that might be hard to do. Leonard has a 32% usage rate right now and Lowry can’t figure his life out. So what does that mean? More will be needed from Leonard.

PF – Tobias Harris (7700/7400) – Lou Williams will most likely sit tonight and that actually benefits Tobias. You may be wondering how…well – I’ll tell ya. Lou primarily is a scorer…and if Lou isn’t playing someone needs to pick up the Slack. Look no further to Tobias who receives nearly a 3% usage bump without Lou. Tobias isn’t really an exciting option but if you are playing cash tonight – He is going to be one of my go-to option for my cash lineups at the PF position.
C – Jusuf Nurkic (9000/7500) – The last time these teams squared off, Nurkic scored 38 fantasy points in 24 minutes. Three games ago he smashed for 54 fantasy points. He is by far and away my favorite option tonight at the center position.
GPP/PIVOTS
PG – Damian Lillard (10200/9700) – Normally, I’d stray away from Dame Dolla here against CP3 – However, this isn’t the same lockdown Paul we have seen in season’s past and Lillard is on a heater right now with an insane 30% usage rate. Essentially, that is why he is priced so high. We see this happen to Dame yearly where he will be priced over 10k for about 2 weeks then trickle back down to 9k. We don’t have many options tonight and Dame easily has the upside to slay the slate and will have ownership. Fade at your own risk.
SG – CJ McCollum (7300/6800) – CJ is the type of player that it really is hard to identify when he will go off. He rarely, if ever, is a cash option. He will go off against the best defenders and then randomly throw a dud up against the worst defenders. It’s just a matter of if his shot is falling. He has shown 40 point upside against Houston and has shown a 14 point floor. If you can’t afford to run a Harden/Dame lineup – I really like bringing it back with CJ who won’t be that highly owned even on a 3 game slate.
SF – Maurice Harkless (4400/3800) – Mo Harkless. Some players, man. Some dudes just play better vs some teams. No Rhyme or Reason. Might have some personal issues with Houston. Who knows. Out of his last 7 games against Houston – He has only gone under 20 once and even dropped a 42 in there for good measure. Keep in mind – Harkless is always around 4k. He’s got potential to bust this slate open.
PF – Montrezl Harrell (6700/6600) – Harrell has disappeared as of late. Return of the Mont is tonight. This game has the Harrell written all over it as it will a faster game and has the highest total on the board. He is averaging 1.44 FPM against the Raptors in the last 3 meetings. I’ll take that. If he adds a few extra blocks or a steal, he will easily hit 40+ for us.
C – Jakob Poeltl (4200/4100) – GPP special tonight. Purdle the Turtle. I don’t think this game stays close as you can see I didn’t mention hardly any Spurs in this article. The biggest beneficiary will be Poeltl. He’s been receiving 15+ minutes per game as of late and putting up respectable numbers. If this game does get out of hand like Vegas predicts, we could see 25+ minutes and low ownership for a 3 game slate.
