AFriedman15’s DK Slate Notes:
I like the FD slate of games better, to be honest. With a lot of projected blowouts on this slate, I like Wright State, who made the tournament a year ago and was picked by Blue Ribbon to be at the top of the conference once again.
Ohio State: Luther Muhammad continues to play well and his price has not hit $5000 yet.
Cornell: Matt Morgan may go down as one of the best pure scorers in Ivy League history. Boeheim, yes, is the son of the Syracuse coach and the 6-8 forward is making a name for himself.
TCU: Jaylen Fisher is expected to make his debut tonight, so I am reluctant to play Bane or Robinson who have been phenomenal in Fisher’s absence. Also, Kouat Noi will return. He averaged 10.2 ppg and 3.9 rpg last year. I want to wait and see how TCU’s rotations look now that Fisher and Noi are back.
Santa Clara: With KJ Feagin out for the time being, and Matt Hauser and Juan Ducasse already out for the season, Josip Vrankic becomes the primary scoring option

FD did a nice job of putting this slate together. Good set of compelling games around the country and even north of the border with the Vancouver Showcase. Duke leads the slate with and implied 82 points from KenPom and 86 from Vegas. The big three are in play, but I am more interested in Barrett and Williamson. I want both in cash. In GPP, I will to mix and match with some of the top tier forwards. Thybulle is interesting to me. Normally, I have avoided Washington due to their propensity to get into foul trouble, but his price has dropped significantly from $8,000 to the mid-$5,000s where it sits tonight. At $3,000 Wendell Mitchell will play in his 2nd game of the season for Texas A&M and he will be in most of my lineups.
