Sweden v Switzerland
Switzerland is the favorite and I can’t disagree with that after seeing them earn a draw against Brazil. The party starts with Xherdan Shaqiri. Even though he plays a wide position, the offense flows through him. He will shoot a bunch and hand off to Blerim Dzemaili if its not looking good for him. Fortunately, this is a combo I like for this team. It’s not where I stop but if I am looking at the Swiss, it starts here for me. Shaqiri is a cash play and Dzemaili is a GPP play.
Sweden should not be overlooked. They play a solid defensive style and look to counter. The cash play for Sweden directly correlates to Shaqiri. Emil Forsberg should be seeing plenty of work on set pieces with Larsson missing this tie. He also mans the side of the field that Shaqiri should be marauding. I like the potential battle. For GPP, though, I am looking at Marcus Berg. Switzerland has had their struggles with forwards when they don’t employ a hack-a-shaq clamp on them. I don’t see that being a thing this match.

England is the big dog on the slate. Even though They finished 2nd in Group G, oddsmakers still felt they deserved to be favored. I love that this is the 2nd match of the day because there is a ton to unpack with this one.
If you are building a cash lineup, start with Harry Kane. He is the biggest name on the slate and leads the tourney in goals. He is the cash play.
