A massive four game slate today, with a lot of value and stud players available for use. Finding the perfect mix today will be tough, but that’s what makes WNBA DFS such fun! There’s no Nneka Ogwumike on the slate so I’m hoping my inability to chose correctly between her and Candace Parker does not hold today! Let’s dive in!

  • Seattle Storm @ Atlanta Dream

Breanna Stewart leads the Storm here and the spot is good for her to excel in. Play her in all formats. This is a good spot to go back to Natasha Howard at lo ownership, after she disappointed last time out. Alysha Clark makes for an interesting GPP play today. She has a relatively good matchup against Angel McCoughtry. Sue Bird is the last player I like here, as the spot is good for her to do her thing. Jewell Loyd has a tough matchup and is expensive, so I have very little interest.

Elizabeth Williams, Jessica Breland, and Angel McCoughtry are the targets here for the Dream. All three of them are in similar spots, with McCoughtry having the tougher matchup but also the higher upside. Breland is really interesting because of her recent form, but the length of Stewart is a problem. On the guard side of things, there’s really not much of interest here. The Storm are one of the best in defending opposing guards. If you must go here, Brittney Sykes makes for an interesting GPP play.

  • Connecticut Sun @ Dallas Wings

Chiney Ogwumike will have her hands full with Liz Cambage. Ogwumike is capable of getting a lot out of this position, but make no mistake, this is a tough task and she should only be used in GPPs. Alyssa Thomas is in an excellent position today. She has disappointed recently so her ownership will be a little depressed, putting her in excellent position for GPPs. She’s usable in all formats today and is one of the top plays on the slate. It’s about time Courtney Williams finds her form, and the Wings provide an opportunity to do just that. Another day, another spot to roster Jonquel Jones in the chase for that mythical GPP takedown. Finally, Rachel Banham is an interesting deep GPP flyer.

We are on Liz Cambage watch again today. She has a tough matchup, but that doesn’t mean much with her. She’s playable in all formats. Glory Johnson and Kayla Thornton have great matchup at their position and I like them today. They will gather ownership given their recent form, but they are worth it especially in Cash games. I have little interest in Skylar Diggins-Smith today due to her high price and the difficult spot she is in. Allisha Gray is a usable GPP “punt” play today. Use her with care as the matchup is not good.

  • Indiana Fever @ Las Vegas Aces

The bottom dueling Fever take on the Aces in Vegas. Natalie Achonwa headlines the Fever in this one. She has an excellent matchup and is one of the top value plays on the slate. Fire her up in all formats. This is also a great spot for Victoria Vivians, and she makes for a good play in all formats. Once again, Cappie Pondexter makes for an excellent value play in all formats to allow for the playing of more studs. Erica Wheeler is in a good position here as well. Kelsey Mitchell and Tiffany Mitchell make for interesting GPP flyers.

A’ja Wilson is the top play in this game. The matchup against Candice Dupree is excellent for her. The center situation for the Aces is a mess, my favorite plays there are Carolyn Swords and Dearica Hamby. Only use them in GPPs, as they have a tough matchup and are not consistent enough to be Cash viable. While the spot is not good for Tamera Young, Kayla McBride and Kelsey Plum have good matchups and are playable in all formats. Moriah Jefferson makes for an interesting GPP punt play.

  • Los Angeles Sparks @ Chicago Sky

Nneka Ogwumike is out today, so Candace Parker moves to power forward, and Jantel Lavender slots in at center. Both are in excellent positions and are playable in all formats. Chelsea Gray makes for an excellent play as well today, since she is in a great spot and will see increased usage in the absence of Ogwumike. With Beard out, Odyssey Sims gets another start at shooting guard and makes for a playable GPP punt in a neutral matchup. I have little interest in Essence Carson today. Maria Vadeeva and Riquana Williams make for deep GPP sleepers today.

The Sky have their hands full today, but the matchup is significantly easier for them with the Sparks missing both Ogwumike and Beard. Stefanie Dolson, Gabby Williams, and Cheyenne Parker are all in good spots here. Dolson is the top in that group, with Williams and Parker siphoning minutes off each other. Diamond DeShields is also in a good spot here facing Carson. The spot is not good for Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot, however they are both capable of performing in tough matchups. The real limit to Quigley and Vandersloot is their prices which makes it difficult to fit them into lineups.
