Did anyone else feel like that international break took forever?  It says something when you are breaking down international friendly matches because you miss Premier League DFS.  Well, it’s back and so am I!  We got Manchester in the house and then everyone else.  I really like these slates because you have to dig a little deeper than just stacking some of the best teams in the world and filling in the rest. If there is one thing we do in the Army, its that we get you in deep.  We do tons of research and organize it in one spot for you so you can maximize your time and profits.  With MLB back, that need is ever so present.

MLB is back! And with it comes the best optimizer in the game for MLB, too. The Domination Station is STILL crushing for every sport and, by now, you can’t pretend like you don’t know who we are. We have added more coaches and more content for you. NASCAR and PGA are back and NHL is rolling right along. With the new NHL Research Station, it’s never been better. Come be a part of the best team in the industry. The best aspect of your subscription continues to be the ever so popular slack chat where you have access to industry pros and specific DFS coaches. That is where the magic happens. Use promo code GOAL for 10% off your lifetime subscription ($36/mo after discount) and start taking your DFS game to the next level! Gameweek 32 is coming hard with 7 matches.  I will get you started with the matches you can build around and you can use our tools (for VIPs only) to fill in the rest. Let’s do this.

West Brom v Burnley

Mathematically, West Brom has not been relegated, but it’s coming.  This week does not look to help their cause. Burnley has actually been somewhat of a surprise this year.  Last year they could only get points at home.  This year they get them anywhere they feel like it.  West Brom has given up 11 goals in their last 4 matches and they have collected only 5 points (out of a possible 18) in their last 6 home matches. Burnley tends to let you shoot and they do what they must to get points on the road.

Sparks tend to fly when these teams get together.  They average a total of 3.67 goals in their matches.  Recent form suggests this not to be a high scoring affair but I actually think there is some benefit to rostering some Burnley tomorrow.  At the very least, start your squad with them in cash because they are playing West Brom.  You can attack them from the wings.  You can attack them from the center.  My two biggest offensive targets are Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Ashley Barnes. JBG has the better floor and will take set piece opportunities, but West Brom can’t stop either of them. WBA has given up the 3rd most goals to forwards off the 7th most shots and the 7th most goals to midfielders off the 5th most shots at home.

Man United v Swansea

Let’s skip right over the Swansea options because you don’t want to play them offensively in cash. You can play the centerbacks on Fanduel, but everyone else is GPP only and you don’t want to get into them too deep.  It is those centerbacks who will make it a tough day on Lukaku in a packed box.  Instead, we will want to attack Swansea from the wings.  Ashley Young is an easy cash play for me.  Man U will be parking in the Swansea half and he should be able to just load up on the attack.  Provided Rashford doesn’t start, Young should be nailed on as the set-piece taker. Jesse Lingard could be in line for a start and if he plays out on the wing, he could be in for a nice day while the defense tries to shut down Lukaku. He is more of a GPP play since they play out of left.

Watford v Bournemouth

Both of these teams have given up an average of 2 goals a game over their last 4.  Bournemouth has been better overall, but their defense is hurting so I would expect something to open up.  I see this game playing out a bit more through the forwards. Richarlison plays best a forward cash play.  The rest of the forwards do not bring a floor on either site. Looking beyond the forwards, Jose Holebas should still be in line for set-piece duty with Deulofeu still out and Bournemouth has given up the most shots to defenders.  Bournemouth will likely play through Junior Stanislas.

Best of the Rest

This is the part of the show where we highlight some cash plays for the games we didn’t really get a chance to talk about or the best cash plays left on the slate.

  • Riyad Mahrez, LEI – He splits corners with Albrighton but he has a monopoly of set pieces and shoots a ton.  He is the spark plug for this team.

  • Ryan Bertrand, SOU – If he is healthy and JWP sits again, Bertrand is likely all over set pieces.  West Ham is a sieve defensively and Southampton is favored on the road.

Between the Sticks

Let’s put a bow on this with a few keeper options.

  1. Nick Pope, BUR – This guy is money in the bank each week.  Keep an eye out because Tom Heaton is itching to come back so this could be the last week we see him.  Any format.
  2. Lukasz Fabianski, SWA – GPP Fanduel only.  He could be in for a busy day with Man U coming at him early and often.
  3. Bournemouth keeper – GPP only with some win upside.  Begovic might miss this match and if so then Boruc is next man up.  This is for Draftkings.

That’s it for the week. If you read this article and you said “Wow, these stats are cool. I didn’t know that before.”, then know that they are only the tip of the iceberg and there is so much more inside our VIP Team sheets.  You will find massive stats and our defense-by-position chart, as well as my player picks, and more.  Join us and take your game to the next level. See you in slack and good luck in your contests!
