LCS NA Saturday 6/3 Slate Breakdown.

Welcome back to the wonderful world of eSports DFS on Draftkings.  I hope that you all enjoyed a great NBA season, and have transitioned into a wonderful MLB season.  If you are looking for another sport to enjoy I always recommend eSports as it was built for DFS.  High scores and lots of actions just make watching your players fun.

I am going to be changing up how I cover the slates this season because life has gotten a bit crazy for me.  I will be doing a write up on the teams I feel deserve to be talked about.  Either from the fade or play side of the coin.

Before the Breakdown

I hope you enjoy this free breakdown of the LCS NA slate, and I hope you keep coming back for more and more fun.  If you find yourself enjoying this write-up, I suggest you check out the rest of what the DFS Army offers.  We have a top notch MLB team, which is lead by Keith (boomersdaddy) who you may know qualified for a live final.

There is also great coverage of Nascar, MMA, and PGA both with the Domination Station, and Slack chat.  Do not wait to join, as we are gearing up for a great NFL season.  Join today and use the code “WIN” and you can try out everything VIP for a week free.  Don’t delay, click today.

The Top Half

So in all Draftking eSports contest, there are top teams (they cost the most) and bottom teams (they cost the least).  This does not mean that their skill is represented by their price. I will be giving you my teams from the tops and my teams from the bottom that I want to focus on each week.

For the top half, you have Dig, CLG, Fly, TSM.  Dig and CLG, in theory, have the match up, and CLG has the skill, but it is very seldom that I will pay up for either one of them.  Dig at a price, not top dog, would be something I would consider, but I will not take them as top priced team even against nV.

For me Fly against Fox is the stud team I want.  Fox is not a bad team, but they are good at making mistakes.  I look for Fly to take advantage and put up some scores.  their price also gives you a lot of room to play with when you get to your bottom team.  TSM is your next team to play, as they are facing off against C9.  The real trick will be is does TSM win or C9.  I am personally leaning C9 for the better fantasy team, but either could go big.

The Bottom Half

If you have never built an eSports lineup, the trick is the stack.  If playing a GPP you need to stack 2 teams (maybe a 1off here and there).  The reason for this is if you pick the right team you get the most points from that team as you can.  This normally means picking a top half team, and a bottom half team.  For the bottom, you have C9, Fox, TL, and nV.  I would fade nV until they show up some.  They have not been a team worth a focus in some time.

For me, I like C9 against TSM for a bottom price point.  TL is not the worst option either if you want to go with a higher priced stud.  I really like both C9 and TSM, but will always error on the side of C9 on the cheaper side.  TL gets to face off against CLG who is famous for a slow start.  They give you a great value, with great upside.  Sure they are TL and offer that risk that comes from playing TL, but they give you a chance at the top if they win.

That’s A Wrap
