Kickin it on the Pitch w/ TreyJ – EPL DFS for Fanduel and Draftkings

This week we are gonna do things a bit different. Rather than try to write an article that is succinct enough while providing solid info for 2 different games, I am going to focus my article on the Fanduel offering. We have a member with a solid track record trying his hand at blogging.  He will tackle the Draftkings for you. Check out his first installment of Cash Cold Case here where he will look back at his cash lineup calls and analyze the thought process.  The thought process is how we all become better players.  Look out for his analysis on tomorrow’s slate.

NFL DFS is pretty much over, but NBA continues to be very lucrative with winners every night in the army. We have had nine 5 or 6 figure wins in the last 3 months.  We have only strengthened our offering and we did it for you. The best aspect of your subscription continues to be the ever so popular slack chat where you have access to industry pros and specific DFS coaches. That is where the magic happens. Use promo code GOAL for 10% off your lifetime subscription ($36/mo after discount) and start taking your DFS game to the next level! You will get more here, for less, than anywhere else.

If you are still wary and wish to try before you buy, check out these options that could get you a free month of the DFS Army! You won’t be disappointed. The testimonials on our homepage speak for themselves.

Everything else will remain the same, including us crushing our competition in gameweek 27!

Manchester City v Leicester City

It’s always easy to love Man City on any slate but I especially love that they are hosting Leicester.  Leicester has had their trouble defending set pieces this season.  Right off the bat, that pushes the start of my cash lineup to Kevin De Bruyne.  Leicester will probably try to pack it in a bit.  Even if they don’t, City should force them into that anyway.  That should mean many opportunities for him to get something going. He is a great cash play, but he is worthy of a spot in any lineup.

West Ham v Watford

So Watford put up 4 last week, huh? Let’s not forget that Bakayoko got 2 yellow cards in 5 minutes.  I don’t expect that kind of output again, but what I do expect is a boost in confidence.  Regardless of how it happened, Watford started scoring goals again and that’s what the players should take away from it.  That confidence boost is why we can look to this game to be more thrilling than what they have given us the past few weeks.  I see Abdoulaye Doucoure flying all over the middle of the pitch and filling up the stat sheet.  If you want a cheaper option for your cash lineups, I would look no further than his wing-backs, Daryl Janmaat and Marvin Zeegelaar.  All three of these guys perform week in and week out.

For your GPPs, you can use West Ham.  I would love to say that Chicharito is a cash play, but I can’t just yet.  He has performed well since Marko and Andy Carroll went down with injuries, but he is reliant on goals to make value.  Now, this slate is pretty void of cash safe forwards so you will need to take a stand somewhere and his price says he is a better option to take a stand with than others, but with a loaded midfield, I am probably going elsewhere for cash.

Best of the Rest

This is the part of the show where we highlight some cash plays for the games we didn’t really get a chance to talk about or the best cash plays left on the slate.

  • Xherdan Shaqiri, STK – Ya know how I said that Leicester is bad at defending set-pieces? Brighton is just as bad, if not worse.  He is probably the 2nd guy I am plugging into my lineups after KDB.

  • Aaron Lennon, BUR – I wanted to give you a cheaper play to help you out some.  He is 6K and he won’t be a standout really but he is a mid who should be in a pace-up situation who should do enough to not kill your squad. He has returned at least 2X in both games he has played for Burnley.

Between the Sticks

Here are my choices for GPP worthy Goalkeepers.  If you are a regular reader of mine, then you know I like going for the saves.

  1. Wayne Hennessey, CPL – He is cheap and Everton is in a pace-up situation.  That could lead to more shots and maybe more saves.

  1. Mat Ryan, BHA –  I think Ryan could see his fair share of shots as Stoke is also in a pace-up situation. I could see this game going more to the OVER, but on FD I do not worry about my keeper giving up 2 goals.

  1. Kasper Schmeichel, LEI – City has had some issues scoring and Leicester defense doesn’t suck.  This is your win or go home play of the week.  City has averaged 20 shots a game over the last 3.  Does City figure out how to score at their breakneck pace of early season or do they continue to do just enough to get the job done?

If you read this article and you said “Wow, these stats are cool. I didn’t know that before.”, then know that they are only the tip of the iceberg and there is so much more inside our VIP Team sheets.  You will find massive stats and our new defense-by-position chart, as well as my player picks, and more.  Join us and take your game to the next level.
