Week 2 Rewind
Another phenomenal start to the season for Army VIPs! I honestly can’t believe all the disappointment I’m hearing around the industry, as a whole, by some of players I respect the most. It really blows my mind to hear them say they are barely breaking even or actually down on the year so far. I think we all know variance swings up and down, but last week should have been fairly straightforward for any experienced tout hosting a podcast.
Our coaches were watching the Sam Bradford news regarding his receivers, the John Brown news along with the coinciding insertion of J.J. Nelson, and of course the shootout everyone was screaming to get heavy pieces of down in Hotlanta. Most of our members heeded the advice, except when fading that game on purpose for larger GPP payouts, and they had solid to awesome weeks as a result. Take a look at some of the screenshots our VIPs shared with us once the aftermath cleared….
Several epic sweats on several slates were followed by some meteoric rises up leaderboards and one noted epic fall. I’ve never seen such outpouring of sympathy as our brethren watched our fellow comrade start to tumble. He still cashed nicely, but it was very bittersweet. As Ty Montgomery went to work, many of us held back the cheers for our own lineups because we knew that same player was single-handedly crushing our friend for bigger money than we had on the line. Our community is not normal. We are not competitors. We are friends, DFS nerds, and a tight-knit community that roots for our own above ourselves. If that’s you, it would behoove you to join us instead of sitting out in Alonesburgh or Procrastinationtown.

Week Two NFL Games to Accompany the Podcast
- Short weeks for both
- Higher ownership for what would be normal for this game if on Sunday.
- Fade the game, but play the slate.
- London games involve heavy travel and often disappoint.
- Another great game to fade.
- Possible Buck Allen, but not much else.
- Higgins is possibly a thing for cash games.
- Sneaky goodness in some Colts?
- Pricing dictates interest here. If added 2k to every salary, this game would likely be a full fade, too.
- Chop seems confused. Kevin sets him straight.
- Definitely a game worth playing multiple players from.
- Afraid of Ben Roethlisberger on the road?
- All the Jay Ajayi. Likely the chalk RB.
- Is this a DeVante Parker game despite all the Jarvis Landry targets last week?

- Love the C.J. Anderson and LeSean McCoy workloads, but safe for cash?
- DeMaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders strong value plays again.

- Naked Brady again?
- Do we trust Mike Gillislee gets the ball late with the 13 point spread?
- We know the Drew Brees road splits are similar to Big Ben, but do we think Cam Newton destroys this putrid secondary?
- What other players are usable in this high total division game?
- CAR defense sneaky.

- Tough defenses serve to squelch offensive players.
- Obviously, paying attention to Sam Bradford’s knee.
- If Xavier Rhodes covers Mike Evans, do this open up DeSean Jackson?
- Both QBs in play here. Matt Ryan on road, but ATL flies high. Matthew Stafford off to solid start, too.
- Devonta Freeman?
- Golden Tate better for cash and on Draftkings due to lack of TD upside.
- How bad does NYG look? Is anyone playable here?
- No concern over any RB in this game. All about receivers.
- Back to Zach……. Zach Ertz, that is.

- SEA on the road is just not worth playing, but their defense puts a lid on TEN to some degree, too.
- Not really into Marcus Mariota or even DeMarco Murray.
- Watching Derick Henry, though.
- Division rival game, but first of the year.
- Kareem Hunt is 2nd most expensive RB next to Le’Veon Bell on Fanduel.
- Keenan Allen still underpriced, but Patrick Peterson is apparently good.
- A.J. Green priced down.
- Watch for Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb news. If out, fire up Devonte Adams!
- Ty Montgomery getting massive workloads in all situations.
- Supposed shootout, but not as simple as last week.
- Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, and Michael Crabtree just obvious plays right now.
- Can Kirk Cousins get Terelle Pryor and Jamison Crowder on the same page with him?
- Sneaky RB play, if you listen closely….
