From Zero To Hero: More Discipline = Better Results

What’s good everyone? It’s the homie Sean Blaque back with another installment of Zero To Hero. Last night slate was “eh” in my books simply because my lines ended being more cash than gpp. I mini stacked Tor in which Kevin Pillar gave us some good value for his price, 15.4 FDP, not bad at all. I’m going stick with this strategy. It’s gonna have it’s days but that’s where discipline comes in. If it works for you, Stick With It!

As I’m looking into the early slate I’m becoming more vested in what the slate is giving me. When I pre-wrote this it was 1:12 in the morning (est) and I was determined to stay my ass up to get a head start for today. If you want to get a head start on your research check out Baseball Savant if you’re employing what I’m doing. The numbers may change but rarely by much.

Let’s Get To It!….

This early slate is so juicy it reminds me of yesterday’s slate. I’m excited…. I’m building my core around these 2 batters:

Melky Cabrera: BBE 6 XBH 4

Jose Abreu: BBE 4 XBH 3

***If you don’t know what BBE and XBH is then please check out my first blog post here

Both of these guys have homerun upside. They’ve scored at least 1 against Chris Tillman. Chris Tillman is giving up .341 wOBA to RHB’s so if you need other bats, that would be the way to go. Note: Melky Cabrera is a switch hitter so his true wOBA is .315 against Tillman. I’m still rocking with him though.

Someone that’s super sneaky that I consider a “Hot Boy” and may employ with the stack above is

Matt Davison. He has a share in the .341 wOBA that Tillman gives up to righties and should he play he will be someone that will make my personal cut. He has been averaging over 20 FDP over the last 2 games. FLAME ON, LMAO!!!

In this segment I want to share with you all the pitchers I feel are going to give up the most runs based on their wOBA allowed to hitters:

Chris Tillman: .341 wOBA to RHB’s

David Holmberg: .395 wOBA to LHB’s

Jose Berrios: .341 wOBA to LHB’s | .371 wOBA to RHB’s

Josh Tomlin: .358 wOBA to RHB’s

These are some very attractive numbers. Any of the opposing offenses can go off with these stats. What’s also dope is temperature and wind factor for these games. Expect some crazy ass HR’s to come through today, even from the least likely of people. If anything check in with @DfsWeather in our slack channel. If you haven’t joined the army yet I really employ you to do so. Hell at least try #DFSARMY for a week.
