League of legend (LoL) is one of the biggest games being played at this time, and it’s eSports’ biggest sport currently offered.  This guide is going to help you get involved and hopefully win at LoL on both of Draftkings and Alphadrafts (pricing information is focused on DK, but you will easily be able to gain information for AD).

Have you wondered how you can join the DFS Army?  Well I have an easy enough solution for you.  All you have to do is click right here to join.

Joining will get you some pretty cool things, but most importantly you will get access to our Slack chat and direct access to all of our pros (MLB/PGA/Nascar/NFL/NBA).  Now you also get ALL sports for the same low price!

There is also a deal that gets you a free month of access if you join Draftkings and make your first deposit.  Just follow that link to get all of the important information!

If you want to join Alphadraft and support everything I do here just follow the link by clicking – HERE – If you are not a member of the DFS Army, and follow that link to sign up and deposit for the first time, you now get your first month FREE!  Just follow the same information you would from joining DK.

LoL DK-AD

Well it has finally been 9 weeks…9 very fun and exciting weeks of NA LCS.  This will be my final write up until we get to the fall split, since I do not do anything with playoffs or tournaments.  This slate is going to be interesting, but there are a few spots we can grab good value as well as grab some big names for a low price.  I will not be doing a players sheet with notes, but am just going to focus on breaking down the matches.

This final slate will start with CLG playing Apex and TSM going for an easy win over NRG.  Then we will finish with Liquid going against Cloud 9 and finishing with Envy against Fox.  I really like some of the matches we get.  We do not have a straight studs vrs underdog slate, and there are some matches that are much more favorites when value is looked at than their match up will be.

I am going to start this with the people or teams I should say that I like from the high value, than the low value, and than explain why.  For my selections I like C9 most, after that I really only like Envy.  TSM and CLG are both also in play, but their price makes them really hard to fit.  C9 is super cheap because they have a tougher match up against TL, but I still really like them.  Their price means we can stack the whole team if we want, without having to punt to far down.  I think the biggest issue we will face is C9 could turn it over as they have in the past, but they still have stuff to play for, and TL did not look that good today against Apex.  I like our chances, and since C9 has often proven to be one of the best scoring NA teams I think it is worth giving them the shot.  They will also be super highly owned so even if they do struggle you will be pretty good spot still.

Their opponent TL is however the better option for Tournament play if you want a low owned option.  I think they are the bigger risk, but they do still have upside if they pull off the win over C9.  They are skilled enough to do it, but I just have a hard time trusting them myself. Still if you want to play tournament and take a safe risk TL is the safest risk of them all.  Their low price can even make it possible to pay up to TSM or CLG which not many teams do without great punt risk.

That leaves us with my 2nd favorite stud team so to speak and that is nV.  They have not been a very pretty team lately, but they do get a soft match up against a Fox team that has looked good for about 10 minutes this whole split.  I would not like them against many teams, but Fox is an easy target to pick on.  They give up good fantasy points because they play aggressive, but not smart.  That leads them open to picks left and right, as well as sloppy team battles to give up lots of kills.  Envy’s players are pricey, but they are still cheaper than both TSM and CLG.

TSM is a stud team, but they COST MONEY, and I am not big on paying up if we do not have too.  TSM should take this as an easy 2-0 so if you are playing cheaper players and can sneak in a few TSM players you should be able to count on 20 points before the match even starts per TSM player.  Honestly the only thing keeping TSM out of my LUs is the fact that I have to punt to get them, and I am not a big fan of our punt options.

CLG is a fine top 5 team, but they struggle way more than I trust.  They even looked like they would drop the match to NRG.  I just do not want to trust them against a team like Apex who is not sexy has been a surprise team when we least expect them, and CLG is the king of screwing the pooch.  Basically I will not be using anyone from CLG due to their crazy price.  They have been better at producing fantasy scores though.

That leads us to Apex, who I think is the best punt option we get.  Their price is crazy low given their tough opponent, but they have proven they can produce against tough opponents.  If you want a TSM/Apex stack you could pull it off more or less with out trouble.  I really like their upside, but do understand that it is risk since CLG has a lot to play for.  Still if you want that savings Go Apex because NRG and Fox are off the list.

Well that has it everyone.  I had a blast these last nine weeks, even though I did miss a week here and there.  If you haven’t done so already, join the DFS Army.  Football season is about to be upon us and that will mean a few things.  First you will have full access to ffootballgeek, and there is no better pro for advice.  You will also gain access to Keith when NBA starts up shortly after NFL.  Great guy with a lot of advice ready to help you win NBA and MLB.  He even has some great advice for NFL, which last year I used to help win $500 on just one lineup off $2.00.  Not bad ROI, and a lot of that was because of his help.  Lastly if you do enjoy the eSports content, with everything coming up I will be dropping to 1 write up for the Fall and Winter Splits.  I will however have team targets in Slack for every NA, and if EU pulls itself together EU as well.  So hopefully if you are not in Slack now you will be in Slack soon where we can keep the fun going in the eSports off season.
